Fit over 40 with Jaycee 🏋️‍♂️

Hi everyone! My name is Jaycee and I am the personal trainer at Back2Front Physiotherapy.

I have always had a keen interest in sports from a very young age, starting with gymnastics, athletics and more recently CrossFit and strength and conditioning. Years of training sparked my interest to pursue a career in sport and exercise.

My education journey started three years ago at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Whilst at university I completed my personal training qualification and set up a small business alongside my studies. My focus as a personal trainer is to address movement dysfunctions and strength training.


Strength training has many benefits. These improvements are beneficial to anyone of any age,but particularly for those people over the age of 40. During this time you begin to experience changes within your body which places you at a higher risk of developing a range of health conditions.


Exercise is a great way to help reduce the risk of many of these conditions. I’ll be discussing each of these conditions over the next few months so please keep an eye out for my other blog posts for how exercise is beneficial for these conditions.
